Found this gem when looking online for a particular bottle of wine my friend recommended. Not only was the price better than anywhere else but the transaction was quick and easy, delivery charge reasonable and order was packed superbly and received quickly. With so many dodgey internet businesses out there its refreshing when you take a chance and it pays off. Would definitely recommend to others and will be using again!
I loved Arkwright's from the moment I saw it.Arkwright's Whiskey, Wines and Homebrew is located on a housing estate and it might at first seem as if you've gone the wrong way!Walking through the door it is immediately apparent that this is a special place. Arkwright's owners claim more than 1000 individual whiskey's with various other fine spirits and wines on their shelves. I don't doubt it for a second. Whilst offering on-site tasting during your purchasing experience they also offer off-site tasting as an event which I'm sure we'll try our best to accommodate soon!In addition, the shop sell good cigars and homebrew kits which will likely satisfy the most ambitious homebrewers. Our experience was a great delight, we were met with fantastic humour and felt immediately comfortable with what was clearly a limited knowledge of the industry. Our host had a huge knowledge of the product and background information which was pitched perfectly.The product is not overpriced as is the case in many small establishments. Arkright's appear to be honest and good people doing what they love. You'd be right to be jealous!!
