This is a lovely bar /restaurant/hotel very clean great service nice place to drink &eat.
As a frequent visitor here I would probably go back more if the music selection was better. Playing the same CDs (yes them) over and over is a little annoying to say the least. The food is normally great for this sort of establishment but you can be overwhelmed by some of vegetables sometimes - a half plate of carrots last sitting - otherwise they do what they say, you get what you pay for. Friendly bar staff if they happen to actually behind the bar at the time you visit.

We went here as a birthday treat for my daughter. The service was prompt and polite. We started with pots of tea and coffee. Shortly after they brought out the food. Three finger sandwiches, scones with cream and jam, also a selection of cakes. We also were brought a glass of an unknown sparkling white wine. It was all very nice. But I did feel it was lacking something.I would compare it to an afternoon tea as McDonald's would do it. Quick, decent food and drinks but lacking that pampered feel that you expect from an Afternoon tea. Apart from the delivery of the food and drink we were never asked if every was alright or if we needed anything else. We would of liked a jug of water for the table or known what the wine was that we were drinking but there was never any one to ask.
