I can not recommend Richard James, Highworth highly enough.Grant is the pinnacle of estate agents and his team, particularly Avril, whom I had most of my dealings with apart from Grant, are second to none as well.I agreed the selling price the property was to be initially marketed at with Grant, and was happy with the commission percentage too, favourably comparable to some other high end estate agents.Grant had promised that Richard James had a wide network with which to bring in potential buyers and indeed he brought in viewings of people located all over the country, including London. Within the first few weeks there were multiple viewings a week for what is a high value niche property. This was also during a time of year that one would think the market would slow down, after the summer, beginning the run up to Christmas.Very soon an offer came in that was very close to the asking price, which I accepted.Then things slowed down, largely due to complications that were outside of Grants control. However with tenacity, tact and diplomacy Grant and his team worked tirelessly to get the sale over the line. It cant have been the easiest sale theyve ever had, but Grant was there at every step to push the sale forwards, never losing enthusiasm despite testing difficulties. Hes born for this job. Sensible, calm, personable, driven.I wish Grant and his team every success in the future.
Everyone at Richard James in Highworth --- Avril, Grant, Sue & Lisa, and also James --- is extremely professional, knowledgeable, efficient and proactively helpful. Not only could they hardly have done a better job of selling my home, or exceeded my hopes and expectations by an even greater margin, or gone further beyond the call of duty: they also couldn't be nicer or more delightful to deal with. They are very special people whom I enjoyed dealing with throughout. With their superb social as well as occupational skills, they proved well able to manage any situation, however difficult, and every time I visited the office the warm reception they gave me (however long I stayed --- and I did tend to stay rather long!) made it a thoroughly pleasant experience. They have my warmest and most enthusiastic recommendations, and I'm convinced that anyone who gets their help in buying, selling, letting or renting property should count themselves very lucky. I'll always remember them fondly, and indeed very much hope to meet them again. Any of them, any time, would be a most welcome guest to my home in Bournemouth, if they feel like a visit to Dorset. And even without the slightest property-related excuse I'll always be tempted to drop in when I'm in the Highworth area, just for the fun of seeing them.
